OLONGAPO CITY – The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is inviting qualified Filipino youth from Zambales and nearby areas to take the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE), with Olongapo City designated as one of the examination centers for this year’s recruitment.

The PMAEE will be conducted on September 5–6, 2026 at the 3rd Floor, Olongapo City Civic Center along Rizal Avenue, providing aspiring cadets an accessible testing venue closer to home.

The examination is the initial stage of the PMA cadet admission process and covers Mathematics, English, and Abstract Reasoning. Applicants who qualify will proceed to succeeding stages, including the Complete Physical Exam, Physical Fitness Test, Aptitude for the Service Interview, and deliberation by the Cadet Procurement Board.

The PMA is encouraging qualified Filipino youth to take advantage of the Olongapo City testing center and consider a career in military service through the PMA Cadetship Program.

Accepted cadets receive free college education, board and lodging, uniforms, pay and allowances, and medical and dental care. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Basic qualifications include being a Filipino citizen, single and never married, never having borne or sired a child, 17 to 22 years old, at least 5 feet but not more than 6 feet 4 inches in height, of good moral character, at least a senior high school graduate, and physically and mentally fit.
