ANGELES CITY — Porac Bank planted 500 more trees at the Sapangbato watershed on Sept. 25 as part of its continuing efforts to support watershed rehabilitation and reforestation.
Porac Bank President and CEO Connie C. Tayag led the tree-planting activity with bank employees, joined by ARAW-ACI President Rene “Abe” Tayag and members of the Kapatirang Aetas ng Angeles-Porac para sa Kalikasan at Agrikultura (KAAPKA).

The activity was conducted under the Adopt-a-Watershed Reforestation Program (AWRP), which supports the restoration and protection of watershed areas through tree planting and other environmental activities.
Porac Bank has been a partner of ARAW-ACI since August 2022 and has participated in various initiatives aimed at rehabilitating and reforesting the Sapangbato watershed.
The latest tree-planting activity adds to the bank’s continuing participation in efforts to protect the watershed and help sustain its ecological functions. (ARAW-Aci)
